Great Flash Game...

This game is just too perfect. Simple, fun, the music is amazingly well-fitted to the theme of the game. Just... cool.

Memorial Day Activities

It's been too long now. Woe is me, or something.

As a treat to make up for my laziness and slackitude, here are some fun pictures of myself and Burke and his brother Danny and their father Dave all out to the west of Utah Lake on Memorial Day 2008 shooting a veritable arsenal of Danny and Dave's guns.

Here's Burke with Danny's Glock .45

He's got a gun. Run!

Burke again, loaded for bear or possibly terrorists.

He's got a gun. Run!

Jon with Dave's ridiculously tiny .357, a very cool gun but it hurts to shoot!

He's got a gun. Run!

Jon yelling something about Danny's sweet AK-47 with extra magazines attached. He's got a gun. Run!

Danny about to shoot his AK-47. He was amazingly accurate with this thing.

He's got a gun. Run!

The boys getting ready to let loose.

Arggghh.

Ok now for the third time.

I made some updates to Drupal and it is giving me headaches. It keeps deleting my content before I post it.

I try again now.

Maybe this one will be the one.

Anyway, here's the scoop. My brother Adam and his wife Erica had a baby. It's a boy. Check it out. My brother James and his wife Chevon are also having a boy sometime in the near future. Sweet monkeys. There are a lot of kids around on Sunday nights at the big family dinner now with more to come.

My brother Jordan and his wife Amanda had their second by back in July of last year. I was too lazy to update this thing then. Here's a link to some pics.

As for me, no I'm still not married. Hence no kids. I have, however, made a biggish change in my life this year. Since the end of last April I have lost almost 80 lbs. I've been exercising almost every day and eating much better than I have since my mom was making me food every day.

It hasn't been as hard as I expected since the first part of making new habits and all that. Since about last July it has been mostly just a matter of sticking to my guns and not cheating myself. Probably the hardest part is finding good food to eat at social gatherings. Most people love to eat out (I do too at the right places) and most restaraunt food is not conducive to weight loss or even mildly healthy. I've basically sworn off junk food and fast food. It just isn't worth it for me anymore. It makes me feel gross and it feels like I am taking a step backwards if I eat that stuff.
